The goal of this program is to stimulate the local Helotes economy by driving direct spending to Helotes Area Chamber of Commerce member businesses. This is achieved by offering a special incentive to consumers: when a customer purchases a $50 gift card to a participating business, the program enhances its value by providing a gift card worth even more in return.
The additional value is funded by the Helotes Area Chamber of Commerce and, if approved, the Helotes Economic Development Corporation (EDC). For example, if EDC funding is secured, a customer purchasing four $50 gift cards (one from each of four different participating vendors) will receive $75 gift cards from each business—creating a meaningful incentive to shop local. If EDC funding is not granted this year, the program will offer $60 gift cards instead of $75.
In short, as an enrolled business, businesses have the opportunity to gain $3,375 worth of business when the customer buys a gift card from the program, the Chamber then buys the elevated gift cards from the enrolled business.
Should you choose to participate, we encourage you advertise to your current clients, on social media, and tell everyone you know about this event, as everyone benefits from this event. They will thank you for letting them know that they will get $10-$25 free, with their $50 purchase, which will only positively impact your sales.

Understand the Helotes Area Chamber is acting as a third-party seller of gift cards and once orders are fulfilled has no other obligation to the business or customer.
Agree that the gift cards will have no expiration date and can be used for any purchase of the customer’s choice and I as the authorized business representative will not alter in any way these terms and conditions.
